A familiar voice for many of our customers, Dragon2000 Support Engineer Georgia Williams is set to take an extended break from our team as she and her partner prepare for the arrival of their first child in the upcoming weeks.
A popular figure with customers, as well as amongst our own team, Georgia is set to start her maternity leave on the 5th of September.
Georgia, who has been a member of the Support Team for five and a half years, always possessed a keen interest in IT throughout her education, so a role working within a progressive software company was always likely be a good fit.
On what initially attracted her to Dragon2000, she said: “I got the job after I finished my IT apprenticeship back in February 2011.
“I was really interested in working here because it incorporated both IT and customer service, and I liked the idea of working for a company that specialised solely in software for car dealers and garages.”
With Georgia not set to return to the phones until this time next year, she has already started to think about what she will miss most about her job when she starts her leave in two weeks’ time.
She said: “I will really miss the camaraderie between the support team and the whole company.”
“Not being a part of all the new and exciting features that are put in to DragonDMS will be tough, and I will also miss speaking to our customers on a regular basis and meeting some of them in person at our Leaders Workshops when dealers visit our offices.”
Georgia has even been known to pop in to see dealers to introduce herself if she has spotted their premises whilst travelling on holiday in the UK!
We are sure all our customers will join us in wishing Georgia all the best, and we look forward to welcoming her back later next year.
