With a whole host of new developments recently released to existing DragonDMS users, we’ve picked out a handful of features that motorhome dealers in particular will find beneficial.
Website Advertising
Information which only apply to motorhomes such as chassis manufacturer, berths, kitchen and bathroom layouts, upholstery and more can be entered into specific fields within the vehicle record. For those who have a website design from Dragon2000, which will be fully integrated with DragonDMS so that your stock automatically appears on your website, they will now also be able to display the new motorhome specific items so that their visitors can see all the relevant details to help encourage enquiries.
Free Mobile App for Sales Videos, Appraisals & VHCs
Our mobile app APPraise, included at no extra charge for all DragonDMS users, is perfect for motorhome dealers. Presentation videos can be recorded of motorhomes for sale and sent straight to customers’ mobile phones, offering a more personal experience compared to traditional email. The app can also be used to carry out appraisals, complete with photos and videos, of motorhomes to record their condition.
For the Service Department, custom checklists can be created on the VHC feature off the app for items such as Habitation Checks, Pre-Delivery Inspections and Used Vehicle Checks, with these fed straight into DragonDMS where emerging work can be managed.
Technician Scheduler
The new Technician Scheduler feature will also be particularly useful for Motorhome dealers, who often have vehicles in for long-term jobs, or re-fits, and need to accommodate technicians’ shift patterns into the work.
You can also reduce efficiencies for your apprentice technicians to allow them more time than experienced technicians to complete scheduled tasks, while you can also assign technician skill-sets, so when a particular skill is required for a job, appropriately skilled technicians will be suggested.
Most importantly, you can easily manage your workshop capacity, while improving efficiencies and customer booking lead times in the process, which will help to lead to an increase in labour sales.
Habitation Check reminders
To help capture repeat workshop business you can also set Habitation Due dates, which will appear in the DragonDMS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) so you can easily send reminders to your customers via text, phone call or letter. CRM Cycles can also be set up for customer contact plans, allowing you to create automatic follow-ups upon customers reaching each contact step.
